It lasts for approximately four minutes andwas influenced by music of the Greek country and would be really nice for a recital. Quite difficult and suitable for upper intermediate players or above, this lovely piece is divided into two main sections: Andante con moto andSherzando, with the second part being much more energetic than the first. This piece can also be played by a Soprano Saxophone. Manolis Kalomiris (1883-1962) is a Greek classical composer. He studied in Vienna and Russiabefore settling in Athens where he became Director of the Athens Conservatoire. He produced more than two hundred pieces.
